Multi-Layer Fabric (Double Layer & 2.5Layer)
It is has one layer of warp yarns and two layers of shute yarns with most common styles are 8 and 16 shed patterns
Product Fatures:
- Provides increased fiber support for better retention & hence sheet formation
- Double layer with extra support shute or 2.5Layer retains improved mechanical & paper-making
properties of DL
- Widely used for paper machines producing tissue, writing-printing, high BF kraft grade, duplex boards
- Both Double layer & 2.5 layers are available in 8-shaft & 16-shaft designs.
